Welcome to Dog on the Roof Website.

As the Big Book reminds us in Working With Others, we don’t mince words with the alcoholic who still suffers. We share the truth as it was given to us direct, honest, and without sugarcoating the message because our lives depend on it.

Dog On The Roof Men’s Stag in Anaheim is a place where men come to get sober and in the process learn how to get honest, get connected and learn to live and stay sober walking in recovery. We showed up because our lives depended on it and they still do. This meeting is built on the foundation that saved us: a God of our understanding, the Twelve Steps, unity with other alcoholics, and service to the newcomer. We don’t water down recovery here. We share experience, strength and hope as outlined in the basic text of Alcoholics Anonymous with raw honesty because that’s what was given to us. We’re a brotherhood of men who hold each other accountable, lift each other up, and remind each other that no one has to fight this disease alone. If you want sobriety and are willing to do the work, you’re in the right place.
